As conscientious hoteliers, we’re taking our footprint on the planet seriously, and believe that even the day-to-day actions towards improving sustainability make a difference. We’re working to continually look at all areas of our operations and see where improvements can be made, as we move towards offering the greenest hotel stay possible. We appreciate the cooperation of our guests in taking these steps with us, to together reduce our impact on the environment.
Banff Aspen Lodge’s eco initiatives include:
Property-wide recycling program in place.
Low flow toilets and water saving devices installed in a selection of washrooms.
Commitment to purchase hand towels and toilet paper with a minimum of 20% recycled material.
Motion sensor lighting installed in hallways
Energy-efficient, smart sensor, temperature control technology in all guest rooms
Guestrooms are equipped with eco-friendly amenity containers that are biodegradable, and soaps that are made from a 100% vegetable soap base, which is a renewable resource.
